Vietnam Logistics Forum 2019 is about to happen
Vietnam Logistics Forum 2019 (7th time) will take place in 02 days from 22-23 November 2019 in Da Nang city.
Vietnam Logistics Forum is the largest annual event in the logistics industry, attracting the attention and participation of more than 50 international organizations and representatives of ministries, agencies, and more than 500 Vietnamese and FDI enterprises operating in the fields of logistics, import-export and multi-sector economy.
The forum will be chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue with Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong and Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The, Chairman. Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Da Nang Huynh Duc Tho, Country Director of the World Bank in Vietnam Ousmane Dione and Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Economic Times - Professor Dao Nguyen Cat.
The event series will have these following activities as below:
1. November 22, 2019:
- Practical survey at Logistics Center and Chu Lai port
Organizing 02 seminars:
- Workshop 1: Logistics connects the East-West economic corridor
- Workshop 2: Sharing economics in logistics
2. November 23, 2019:
The whole session of Vietnam Logistics Forum 2019 - Logistics is talking about the topic "Logistics supports to enhance agricultural value".
Logistics is considered as a "barrier" of Vietnam's current agricultural products in both local and international markets. According to the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development, logistics costs for Vietnam's agricultural products are 6% higher than those of Thailand, 12% for Malaysia and even 300% higher than Singapore.
Vietnam Logistics Forum 2019 (the 7th time) selects the topic "Logistics supports to enhance agricultural value" for the whole session.
